Abstract portrait painting - acrylic on canvas in palette knife technique

This video work shows the creation of an abstract portrait executed exclusively using the palette knife technique in acrylic on canvas. The artistic focus is on the reduction of figurative features in favor of structure, surface and expression. The palette knife technique enables a direct, powerful pictorial language in which forms are not drawn, but worked out through layers of paint and rhythmic movements. The result is a portrait that hovers between abstraction and recognizability - open to interpretation and emotionally complex.
